Hello Everyone,
I am completely torn on this topic. I recently bought a 2006 BMW 330I and when I bought it, it had 43,000 miles and now it has 50,000 miles and it is out of warranty with BMW. I just had a problem with the adeptaive headlights and I got it fixed for ,200. I have been looking online for extended warranties and i see so many blogs about companies not making out the payment and or scamed them out of there money. Can someone please tell me how do I go by picking a good company and if they could please recommend a company, is it even worth it getting a warranty? The rep at BMW said its not worth it. I would like to put my mind at ease with a warranty but if they do scam people than i would rather just put some money aside every month incase I do need to fix it.
Thank you,

Hi
I bought my Toyota in 2007 and just realized that the manufacturer warranty 36K/3 years expired few weeks back. Can anyone tell me what options I have in terms of getting an extended warranty
Thanks

Extended auto warranties, like many warranty products, are used by people who don’t want to get caught out by expensive repair bills just when they can least afford it. My truck went thru 3 turbo in 4000 miles and now the engine burn up. Dodge pencil pusher says I must have run it low on oil I say BS. Once they rule there like God. I asked why they didn’t order a tear down on my engine after the 2nd turbo or the 3rd one they couldn’t answer. I would highly recomend Don’t buy Daimler Chryslers Vehicles. They don’t stand behind them.
They finally after 2 months offer me a deal I would have to pay 00 and they would pay the rest for a rebuilt engine, I don’t think it’s right but they kind of like Black mail if I don’t take the deal it will cost me ,500 plus for a rebuilt engine.
Has anyone else ever had problems with them. I can’t beleive I’m alone on this issue. I wrote to Dodge telling them about this site so if anyone has had problems please post now and if I could change anyones mind abouot buying a Daimler Chrysler please post that also
Thanks for the help
Hi Thanks for that info but I talked to them at the 800 number and they said they have pictures and that there people in warranty part looked it over. I asked if they really looked it over or were affraid that someone might see that they missed something. They don’t want people to know that they have No common sense and that they go by the book instead of looking into things.
They were very polite and said they have all the information and made a decision. They still didn’t answer why 3 turbo burn up in 4000 miles and them 2500 more miles and my engine burn up. Wouldn’t it be obvious that there was a problem with the engine? That is why I’m looking for help here and asking everyone to boycott Daimler Chrysler. Maybe they would start treating there customers with a little respect.
Thanks
I agree with you about them being incompetent. I just wish they would answer why my truck burn up 3 turbo and then my engine in a total of 6500 miles.
They won’t answer the question because they are incompetent.
I’m looking for other websites to put this on can anyone help me with it
Thanks
My truck is a 2002 and the lemon law in NY is only good till 18 months.
A big comapny that is losing jobs the way they are should treat there loyal customers with a little respect.
I can’t get an answer from these pencil pushing IDIOTS
If they gave me an answer I wouldn’t be here.
DON’T BUY DAUMLER CHRYSLER VEHICLES
I just read in the paper that Kerkorian is trying to buy Chrysler for 4.5 billion. Last year he offer 20.5 billion Shows the incompetents from the top of Daimler Chryslers right down to the pencil pushing idiots in the Dodge
Extended Service Contract.
Looks like Daimler Chrysler will be gong soon so don’t buy there vehicles till that get some competent workers.

An extended auto warranty can increase the value of your vehicle as the unexpired portion of the warranty can be transferred to a new owner. To find out more, click here to receive a free, no obligation auto warranty quote
