Auto warranties are without doubt a great help to thousands of people every week who do not have to pay for auto repairs as the warranty picks up the tab. However, we know there are auto warranty scams out there and you have to be careful. Do your own research is our advice. if you bought an extended warranty for a Ford from a Nissan dealer, what you bought is an aftermarket warranty. coverages range greatly with the aftermarkets compared to the factory extended warranties. If the warranty is backed by Nissan at all (which I doubt) then what they told you is probably true. However, any car dealership that has worked with that aftermarket warranty in the past, should be able to get your work taken care of with your deductible. They will have to diagnose the issue and contact the aftermarket company for approval before the repair is made. In some cases they will send out an adjuster, like an insurance claim, to evaluate the repair and decide as well if it is covered or not. You might be responsible for the diagnosis time until they get approval.
What you need to do is go to the dealership and give them all your information on the policy and let them know what you need and they should be able to walk you through it.

What you bought is really an insurance policy and any dealership that works with the company that owns the policy can fix the car with the deductible. Call the warranty company and see what dealerships in your area take that warranty
yes it should pay any covered parts that is listed – also check exclusions to make sure – gaskets and fluid are covered as well
