is honda prolude auto trans. a good choice?

my friend sell me his prolude 1998 auto trans.
I’ve hear that tip-tronic auto trans of honda is bad.
so do you know how much it cost for a new trans?
and are there any extended warranty for the trans. ?

there is no point trying to get a warranty on a 12 year old car, no one will sell it to you that is an honest company that will be around to pay out a claim.
You are better off just taking the money you would’ve expect to pay for the warranty and put it aside as a repair fund (or new car fund if no repairs are needed)
