We include all types of opinion from people who have had both good and bad experiences with auto warranties. In the end, you must make up your own mind. One way is to talk with an auto warranty expert who can give you a quote for your vehicle. Then at least you have the information to make an informed decision. Click Here for an Auto Warranty Quote
They sure are. This is something the dealer does not want you to know. But every service the F&I guy shows you in closing is negotiable.
Also it is the end of the month and they are required to sell 33% of the customers contracts. So now is the time to act.
I asked for the sales manager and made the best deal on the car I could and then asked for them to throw in the extended warranty as an additional incentive to buy the car. They agreed to do so. If you don’t ask you won’t know if you can get it or not. They can sell extended warranties for what ever they want to. It would be up to the dealer if he wants to make money on it or not.
