I bought my Jeep September of 2009. First problem was that the heat/ac would only work on high. Go that fixed. Then my water pump went, dad fixed that (worked for Chrysler for 20 years). Then the check engine light came on, needed a new transmission control module. Got it fixed. Check engine light still on saying there was a misfire so we replaced the spark plugs again. There was a misfire in cylinder 3 replaced the cylinder. Now my engine light comes on and off at random times. If I sit at a stop light the check engine light will blink even if it is off. I have an extended warranty but I wanted to see if anyone had similar problems and could give me some in sight. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

What are consumer rights regarding car warranty?

My mum bought a used car (’03 plate) from a garage with 3 month extended warranty, VERY soon after she took it in because it had early signs of head gasket trouble, but the garage (who agreed on the phone) decided upon seeing it that it was another problem which appeared to be fixed. Now the warranty has JUST ended, and she had to take it in again today, where the [different] garage are pretty sure its a blown head gasket (which needs time to develop). Can my mum claim on the warranty, using the fact that it had problems with identical symptoms to what it has now, which were ignored by the garage?
edit: New details my mum didn’t mention, the warranty didn’t end ‘recently’, it ended the same day.

she actually backed up into my car and caused a crack in the front bumper. She gave me all of her information and the insurance policy number and called me today to tell me that they’ve just informed their auto insurance company. I was driving my husband’s expensive car and he’s away on a business trip. Now that they’ve contacted their insurance what do I do now? Do I contact my insurance and let them know? Will her insurance completely cover for the repair?
